Where do fittings take place?

Fittings and in-person consultations take place at the Sandra Zomer workstudio by appointment.For added convenience, home fittings can also be arranged for an additional fee, allowing the appointment to take place at your preferred location. A collection and drop-off service may also be available for an additional charge, depending on location and availability.Studio details or arrangements for a home appointment will be confirmed when your booking is made.

Alterations normally take approximately 5–14 working days, depending on the complexity of the work required.A more accurate timeframe will be provided following your alteration assessment.

Can you accommodate urgent alterations?

Where possible, yes.Alterations required in fewer than five working days may be accepted subject to studio availability and will incur an additional rush fee.A minimum of one working day is required. Some complex alterations cannot be completed on an urgent basis.

Bridal and bespoke projects generally take approximately 1–4 weeks, depending on the design, complexity of the work and number of fittings required.Timelines are discussed individually during consultation.For time-sensitive projects, we recommend making contact as early as possible.

How does the bespoke process work?

Every bespoke project is individual, but the process will usually begin with a consultation to discuss the garment, occasion, design direction, fit and materials.From there, the design and final quotation are agreed before work begins. Depending on the piece, one or more fittings may follow before the garment is completed.The process is collaborative and allows the design and fit to be refined throughout its development.

Prices shown on the website are intended as a guide.The final price is confirmed after consultation or assessment, once the garment and full extent of the work have been considered.You will be informed of the agreed cost before work begins.

Do bespoke projects require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A deposit may be required to confirm a bespoke, made-to-measure or customised project before work begins.The amount and payment schedule will be discussed as part of your consultation.

Can I return a bespoke or made-to-measure piece?

Accepted Answer

Because bespoke, made-to-measure and personalised garments are created specifically for you, they cannot normally be returned simply because you change your mind.If there is a problem with the garment or it does not correspond with what was agreed, please contact us so that the issue can be assessed.

How long do ready-to-wear orders take?

Ready-to-wear pieces are currently produced on a pre-order basis and normally require approximately 4–6 weeks before dispatch.Once your piece is ready, you will receive confirmation that it has been shipped.

Yes. Sandra Zomer ships worldwide using signed delivery.International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or local charges imposed by their destination country.

Complimentary shipping is available on UK orders over £350.Shipping charges for other orders are shown at checkout.

Can I exchange a ready-to-wear piece?

We do not currently offer direct exchanges.If your item is eligible for return, you can return it in accordance with our Returns Policy and place a new order for another size or style.

Can you restore vintage or delicate garments?

Restoration work begins with an assessment of the garment.The fabric, construction, age, condition and desired result will be considered before we advise what work is possible.Due to the nature of delicate or aged textiles, not every restoration can be undertaken, and some work may have inherent limitations that will be discussed with you beforehand.
